Well, as this buying a home story shows, this will likely be the first opportunity to examine the house without furniture giving you a clear view of everything.

Check the walls and ceilings carefully as well as any work the seller agreed to do in response to the home inspection.

During this step of the home buying process, any problems discovered previously that you find uncorrected should be brought up prior to closing. It is the seller's responsibility to fix them.

  3. I have always been a renter and even as a renter getting through the final decision to lease can be stressful. So I can only imagine the stress of the final walk through before purchasing a home. It must be hard.

So much goes into buying a home. You have to find a real estate agent, insurance, and of course you have to go through the home loan approval process.

It all seems rather agonizing. I appreciate the tips you have laid out here! I am sure this will help me in the future when I finally get that home and the mortgage that comes with it.
